The Ridgefield Education Foundation and Fairfield County Bank presents the entertainment basketball team, Harlem Wizards in a basketball game against TEAM RPS. The Ridgefield Public School team includes favorite Principals, teachers and staff from all 9 public schools! The event will take place on Friday, November 7th, 2014, 7:00 pm at Ridgefield High School Gymnasium. This is a fun family event for Ridgefield community members of all ages!


The Harlem Wizards are known for their athleticism, hilarious gimmicks, and fancy ball moves. TEAM RPS has nearly 35 members, some will cheer lead while others are preparing to defeat the comedic Harlem Wizards on the basketball court. TEAM RPS Co-Captain and Scotts Ridge Middle School Principal Tim Salem says, “We are extremely proud to be a part of this tremendous event in support of the Ridgefield Education Foundation! The RPS community is fortunate to have the foundation as an awesome resource to support our collective goals on behalf of students and staff. We are pleased to join in this community endeavor…it will be a lot of fun and will certainly bring a lot of laughs!”


Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, October 15th and are $12 for students and $14 for adults in advance will be available at: Ridgefield Bicycle Company, 88 Danbury Road, and Audrey Road, 7 Bailey Avenue. Be sure to purchase tickets early as this will be a sold out event!
