2014 Project – MoGo

A lesson in the Newton’s laws of motion, the Vernier motion detector uses ultrasound to measure position, velocity and acceleration of moving objects. Applying it to any computer, tables and graphs were generated from the data that increased the students’ understanding among proportional relationships, lines and linear equations. Through a hands-on cross disciplinary approach to learning the students witnessed real-life action taught in textbooks.
